# Webhooks API

The Webhook API allows integrating webhooks with eLoxx 365 for receiving real-time event notifications.

A webhook is a user-defined HTTP callback that is triggered when a specific event occurs. Instead of periodically polling the system for updates, eLoxx 365 sends event data directly to a configured endpoint whenever a selected event happens.

This API allows configuring and managing webhook endpoints for a specific tenant. You can define which events should generate notifications and specify the URL to which those notifications are sent.
